Position Description:
Primary role is to provide Customer Support and QA Testing for the QuorumLabs DCRM product, which is our automated policy-based management system. Secondary role will be to provide Customer Support for the QuorumLabs onQ product line, which uses the DCRM product.

Required Skills

• Excellent scripting skills in Linux
• Good problem solving skills
• Can operate independently and report results
• Ability to diagnose and reproduce complex technical issues, involving hardware and software (Linux/Solaris/Windows)
• Good telephone and language skills combined with unrufflable patience
• Good written communication skills.  Must be able to clearly communicate via email
• Good Linux server administration skills.  Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix CLI and how to perform common tasks
• General knowledge of network configuration under Linux and Windows

Desired Skills

• Programming background with 3GL languages (C/C++).
• Enterprise-level customer support experience.
• Understanding of virtualization platforms.  XenServer preferred.

Required Experience

• 5+  years experience in an SQA role,  preferably in small company or start-up environments
• BS in Computer Science or related degree or equivalent experience

Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities include:

• Development of C++/C code for Windows/Linus for system back up and management.
  
• Development of Windows services and installation packages.
  
• Porting code across Linus and Windows.

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in C++/C systems/server development on Windows & Linux platforms.
  
• Smart, productive, self-starter able to work in a small team environment.
  
• Good understanding of multithreaded programming and network programming.

The ideal candidate will also have:

• Detailed knowledge of the Windows boot process and the Windows registry.
  
• Experience programming with Volume Shadow Copy Service APIs, NTFS change logs, and Windows data backup APIs.
  
• Experience with WinPE.
  
• Working knowledge of WMI
  
• Experience developing management systems.
